Our story

Passion meets precision.

Founded by Aashay Kamdar in 2010, K.I.D began as a boutique firm in Borivali West with one vision: turn ordinary spaces into bespoke living environments that bring joy, comfort and functional harmony.

That boutique studio has grown into one of Mumbai’s premier interior firms, trusted by hundreds of homeowners and businesses across the city. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. We take the time to listen, observe and collaborate, then design interiors that truly resonate with your vision, whether it’s a cosy family home, a sleek office or a retail store.

Our approach is human-centred. We don’t just decorate rooms; we craft environments that lift your daily life, and with our own manufacturing unit, every cabinet, wardrobe, fluted panel and architectural detail is made to our standard.

When was K.I.D Interior Studio established?

In 2010, by Aashay Kamdar in Borivali West, Mumbai. What began as a small office is now one of the city's most respected interior firms, with over 15 years of experience and 500+ completed projects.

How big is the team?

More than 20 designers, architects, project managers and skilled artisans. Our in-house manufacturing unit gives us complete quality control over every piece of furniture and fixture.

What makes K.I.D different from other firms?
